I’m a HUGE FTR fan , but the 𝙁𝙏𝙍 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙈𝙞𝙡𝙠 𝙏𝙚𝙖 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝘽𝙤𝙗𝙖 (~$6) for 250ml of milk tea seemed abiiiit, well, overpriced. I’ve seen reviews of their milk tea being weak, but mine had a strong tea taste, so perhaps there was some inconsistency. 🤷🏻♀️

And here’s the answer to the impt qn: How’s the Boba? It’s... well.... edible. Similar to the tea, there were consistency issues, some pearls were chewy and some were hard. 🥤🥛

For a more tangy/ sweet drink, opt for the 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙤 𝙁𝙧𝙪𝙞𝙩 𝙏𝙚𝙖 𝙇𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚 (~$6.30), with a more citrusy feel 🍋

Being the #1 Meiji melon milk fan as a child, I would say 𝙈𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙣 𝙏𝙚𝙖 𝙇𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚 (~$6.30) with oat milk (+0.50) was like melon milk on steroids 🤤
.
Switching to oat milk was a good idea, since that allowed the milky creamy component of this drink to take a backseat— and for me to fully appreciate the rich yet neutral melon purée. Light and natural tasting, this is something I see myself coming back for!

Earl Grey Milk Tea had a REAALLY strong earl grey flavour but the milk base was quite light and thin, would have liked it to have been more milky, while the Alishan Milk was a tad bit too milky for my liking.
𝘼𝙫𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙤 𝘾𝙤𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙪𝙩 (~$5) with coconut bits (+0.60) could (basically almost) replace my bbt cravings 🥤 Smoothie was filling and insanely smooth, packed with avocado flavour, but not so much coconut 🥥🥑 In fact, coconut taste wasn’t obvious at all except in the coconut topping! That being said the coconut topping really suited this drink, and I really liked it bc it wasn’t your usual konyaku jelly/ pearls etc in drink shops ☺️

Mango Cheezo with skinny sugar (~$8.20) 🧀 was probably the most disappointing... thing... ever...... Switched out the cheese to ice cream at no cost but even that couldn’t save the drink 😭
.
The first thing I tasted was this duriany taste, followed by the sweetness of the mango and the aftertaste was ????? 😫😫😫 I can’t even describe it properly but I could barely stomach this :-(( idk why it’s so disappointing

First time trying out r&b’s Brown Sugar Boba Milk (~$3.80) and I think I found my FAV BROWN SUGAR MILK!! 😍
.
Tbh I’m really not a fan of brown sugar in general bc most places always make it so sweet, but r&b balances the sweetness and milkyness perfectly 😋 Most of the brown sugar taste came from the pearls, which were nice and bouncy 🥤
.
Light and smooth fresh milk paired with a subtle but present brown sugar flavour, it’s no wonder my friends always rave about it 👌🏻
Ig @goodfomood
Brown Sugar Fresh Milk was lighter than most brown sugars I’ve tried, and wasn’t as sinfully sweet as others! 😋 I found the pearls abit too hard though, but they did soften after soaking in the milk for awhile.

Never been one to like fruit teas bc of how they lacked the satisfaction milk tea brings but I really enjoyed the Zesty Pineapple Mango Pops from Wantea 🤤
.
Tea base was light and not sweet, instead the sweetness came from the mango pops— which disintegrated well after leaving a burst of flavours in your mouth!

Oreo Brown Sugar Milk Tea (~$5.90) seemed impressive from the numerous photos I’ve seen, but really it was mostly filled with ice (couldn’t customise the ice level) with not much milk tea 🥤The pearls were good, with a good bite to it: chewy, slightly soft, and probably one of the better pearls out there 🍪
.
Oreo flavour was a tad anticlimactic, and I feel that it didn’t really go well with the salty milk foam 🥛🍪 Overall I’d recommend to ditch this; I had a few sips of the drink and before I knew it; I was finished :-(

Hojicha Latte (~$5.80) was a very light drink, much lighter than most hojicha latte’s I’ve had! Flavour was there but it wasn’t very strong ☕️ It was quite creamy though!
.
Zesty Earl Grey (~$4.70) was earl grey tea with orange zest, an interesting concoction! However I felt like the orange flavour was too mild and the Earl Grey overpowered it 🍊

Black sesame milk with azuki beans (~$4.80) tasted, like the staff described: ‘like tangyuan’ 😛😛 This was a really unique flavour that I never saw anywhere else heh
.
Black sesame milk was really smooth and sesame taste was super evident, deffos for someone who likes sesame!! It wasn’t sweet which was good but it wasn’t bitter bc the azuki beans added a natural sweetness and another layer of taste to the drink! 🍶
.
Azuki beans gave the drink so much more texture and this combination really worked out hehe 🌟
