Enjoyed the texture & consistency of their ice cream very much. Not overly sweet too. Surely one of the better ice cream parlours out there. šØ
Yet another seasonal flavour from matchaya, this one melts faster than its counterparts as it has a thinner consistency. Basically bandung in soft-serve form. š¹
Tangy cubes of mango & frozen durian pulp on top of shaved ice with evaporated milk sounds like a match-made in heaven. Price point is still affordable after the increase. However, I wouldnāt travel all the way down specially just to have this. š§
Matcha soft serve lacked bitterness, in fact its just milky with very subtle hints of green tea. Good thing itās not overly sweet thus, compliments the hojicha blend at the bottom perfectly. š¦šµš„
Childhood memories came flooding back in the form of this dessert. Tiny as it may be, portion is just sufficient for me. I especially enjoyed its soft texture however taste-wise its just mediocre.š¦
This is way too damn sweet, the jelat feel got to us when we werenāt even halfway through it. Do not order unless youāve got a really sweet tooth, otherwise youāre better off eating real durian flesh. Still cringe a lil when I look back at this pic... š¤¢
First time tasting this exotic berry blend since it got famous & I gotta say I love it! Packed with so much superfood in this tiny bowl of icy concoction, itās the place to go to get your dose of anti-oxidants. A berry healthy & delicious option when you need a tea-time snack! šš„š
Gently reminds me of the scent of my air purifier, nothing too overpowering tho which makes it easy on the palate. Alas, this isnāt my cuppa soft serve, iāll take my goma/ hojicha anyday! š¦š®
With a stroke of luck, we got to try Shirogoma when the SA informed us that Goma was oos and temporary replaced by this limited edition flavour. Its rich and creamy taste combined with the grainy texture of grounded sesame delighted my tastebuds to no end. Wishing this could take up a permanent spot on the menu as it has now claimed the top spot amongst the other flavours...š¦
Rich & good just like its name suggests, this is arguably the best swiss roll you can find in Sg. Loved the thick layers of fragrant kaya encased within soft, moist cake. Iād tried a handful of other flavours but ultimately, Kaya still has my heart. š
There is no better way to describe this than to imagine biting into the innards of an egg tart, w/o the crust that is. Thatās no surprise as theyāre essentially made of the same ingredients. Texture-wise, thereās still room for improvement on achieving a smoother consistency. Nonetheless, itās still a good substitute for days when you reminisce about the good ol ones youād tasted in HK...
Despite being tucked away in the back alleys of Bugis, this old school dessert place attracts a constant long queue. Spontaneously decided to try something different, this tiny bowl delighted us with its milky goodness. My pals exclaimed that the papaya pieces resembled tapioca as it was rather bland, probably due to being soaked for long hours. Would order this again although I wish portions were more generous.
