The Ngoh Hiang was robust in flavor and chock full of crunchiness from the cleverly inserted radish cubes. Pair with the kick ass chili, and the soft otah and you essentially have a good start to a meal at this neat Peranakan eatery tucked away in Shaw Centre @indigobluekitchen. This shell pasta with tomato base is cooked al dente and once you place an order with one of the cute wooden sticks bearing your table number, it is sent to your table piping hot. Great sauce to boot, as was our Tagliatelle Carbonara which was slurp-licious with the mushroom cream and ribbons of springy tagliatelle.

Take this Grilled Meat Platter, with grilled Australian beef, NZ lamb rack, pork sausage, chicken and beef satay that's perfect for a meaty gathering sharing. ($40/$56 to share portions for 2/4). The beef is a nice medium, with that charred exterior. Say dayum. We also loved their Asian creations, which I'll share separately.

Here, we found a delicious spaghetti in tomato, somewhat similar to SG's version with noodles slightly on the softer side. This was meant to be a 'side' on the menu - note portions here - but it took the limelight from the pork chop.
