Osaka, Kyoto And Kobe 2018
Frequent by locals and the owner welcome tourists like us. We went with the recommendation of the owner.
All the food you saw and 3 drinks costed us S$80. The food was perfectly grilled. Especially their pork belly, the hidden onion slice gave the burst of sweet. The total sitting capacity was only 10 pax. So if you are traveling in group of 3 and less is ideal. .

Total of 110 dishes for you to choose from. All parts from a beef and wide selection of pork and chicken. Meat lover heaven. You might find many Cantonese speaking foodies as it was highly recommended by HK media. Good local beef and fresh veg. I would recommend while BBQ the meat, let it rest a while before cutting. Meanwhile, you could try their cooked food. .
The only downside was that we felt like been BBQ as it was really smoky. And do remember to make a booking, if not it will be a VERY LONG wait. .

One rice with four other side dishes. Local grown greens and detailed preparation. Free flow top up of rice (which I love it). Please go them in your breakfast option. .
Kyosaimi Nomura
It was all for the design. Fresh squeezed cream with matcha base. My conclusion: it was a “dream-y” drink.
.
For every order, it came with one main course and buffet for only 1500Yen. The most worth it meal we had in Japan. Each dish in the meal tasted excellent. Fresh air in the country side and river running in the back ground. Lovely way to relax and enjoy the lunch. It came to as close as a life changing experience. Don’t leave here without their dessert and coffee! .

I totally love this combination. Great pit stop. Enjoy their coffee or other local beverage. The drinks were little exp as it costed 720yen for hot coffee. But all is worth it.
Totally a steal. An old school coffee place with an owner patiently brewing his coffee and toasting the bread. Really simple. 6 Jam, juice, coffee and yogurt. If you are even tired of walking, come here for a try. However, their breakfast set start from 9 to 11 and very limited.
We wanted to try the udon opposite but it was not closed. So we went opposite and tried the ramen instead. Speedy service and even faster table service. Other than the broth was too thick to my liking, the overall taste was good and not too salty. Don’t underestimate the appetite of Japanese. As we saw ladies finished a bowl of ramen with fried chicken and rice. For those who are hungry, the additional ramen for 100Yen Come with a slice of char siew too. .

This experience sharing was a little bias as I loved to eat Mackerel. It’s hint of fishiness was the reason why many turned their heads away. .
.
The Shabu Shabu broth was light enough to carry the additional ingredients yet good for cooking the sliced Mackerel. I highly recommend to add the congee set at the end to “complete” the meal. .

The aroma of the shop paused our steps and made us detour from our trip to Kobe. Their dessert wasn’t too sweet. The combination of milk, egg and flour created such comfort to the soul! Really worth a try and they have free WIFI!!! .

The olden way to takeaway sushi. It’s compressed shape made them easier to bring around. The bamboo leaf gave the hint of fragrant. Instead of the seaweed, the chef used kombu to bring out the sweetness of the Mackerel. Walk slowly if not, you will miss the stall. .

Super long Q consisted of locals and travelers like us. Even the buffet started at 8, people came at 7. Every single dish was cooked with the locally grown veg. Simple taste and no English speaking. Just put in the coins and the lady would give you a seat. After days of meat, this meal of veg refreshed our system. 😂 I highly recommend to try their lunch at 850yen and Shabu Shabu for dinner at 1600Yen. .
Because of the lack of seats and popularity, you guys need to do a little research for its address.
