Healthy Choices
Hidden in the corner of Tanjong Pagar Plaza, a great place with lots of choices. You can have a super small bowl to a large bowl of soup, matched with a bread basket, popiah (great local vibe) and several other options (that slipped my mind).
I tried the creamy mushroom soup combo (only at $8.90) - not too heavy, fragrant. I got a bread bowl with it - very creative with green tea bread and charcoal bread but perhaps practically might have been better to eat sine with butter. The combo also gave a free genmaicha tea but wasn’t wanted for me since I already had soup.
The shop overall seemed mindful of recycling and waste but the tea cup was a typical wax cup with plastic cover..
Good place to stop by for a quick and light meal! Excited to try popiah next time.

Reverse age by drinking juice from EGA clinic (get it? Lol. My hubby is so smart to figure this out)
I felt a little low today and needed some pick me up. Love ($9) definitely hit the spot. Some warmth from ginger and overall sweet and happy flavors from apples, carrots and mints.
I definitely stock up a few everytime I pass by botanic gardens circle line! Bring back your bottles for 50 cents off! The staff so friendly and knowledgeable about Ayurveda as well! #healthyjuice #pickmeup https://m.facebook.com/egajuiceclinic/
Delicious wellness gourmet lunch @atsunrice to end the sugar conference!
Really enjoyed the potato samosas, miso baked codfish, and sugar free chocolate mousse with pear and ginger! All low sugar or sugar free, and no rice/noodles/bread! My favorite was that chocolate mousse had some cookies on top. Not too sweet but not bitter either!
Definitely recommend everyone to go for the culinary wellness conference - the scientist in me got some hardcore biology from clinical scientist Dr George, the healthy me (lol) got some tips from the nutritionist and dietician Ryan and Adriana, the foodie in me got some baking knowledge from Chef Jason, ate delicious tea break and all you can eat lunch!! Win for all.

Tea break at culinary wellness conference @atsunrice global chef academy!
In tune with the sugar topic today, we have low sugar lemon tart (yum I had two!!), sugar free truffles (melts in your mouth), and pear, beet and ginger sorbetto (nice flavor but not used to the texture)!
Eating too much of any sugars, natural or artificial, is not good for your health! Just a spoonful of sugar 😉

Delighted to chance upon this new healthy snack storefront in the basement of Raffles City. The storekeepers were really helpful and generous giving samples to customers to pick their favorite.
There’s a promotion going on and you get 10% off if you buy three items or more! BUT you can get $5 off your first purchase online.
Love the banana bread granola so much I got the large 500g home ($17.90). There’s also a 200g version going for $14.90.
I also really enjoyed the rosemary pepitas and I was reminded of cooking in the US. The Tom yum nut mix was fun and Asian. A little spicy but still edible. The nuts go for $7. There are other sweet choices but I didn’t try them!
