Chanced on this cafe with a lovely ambience and al fresco dining area within Botanic Garden; and is one of restaurants closer to the gate at the Botanic Garden mrt. The pizza was topped with a sweet-salty combination of caramelised onions and bacon, but definitely not truffle-ly enough for my liking. And also, found the pizza dough a little too tough and chewy after awhile. Preferred the tomato-based pasta dish; the braised beef was well-cooked and really tasty ๐
Thin crust but still bready dough, check. Lots of truffle oil flavour, check. Egg with runny yolk, check. Yup this is my type of pizza for sure. Topped with a reasonable amount of cheese too so it doesn't overwhelm the truffle taste. Portion and price ($20 for a decent size!) is great for sharing between friend/friends. Hehe Brio somehow never disappoints. ๐
Wood-fired pizza, thick cut fries with subtle hints of truffle and salted crispy calamari rings. The food was pretty meh imo but the ambience and company was pretty great โบ๏ธ
Shared a half-and-half pizza, one half being Seafood and the other being Peri Peri Chicken. ($29) Personally preferred the chicken side more, but I'm not a fan of the mayo sauce that came with it (had to scrape it all away). Love that it's cut into smaller pieces for easier eating and sharing. The pizza dough is pretty thin so no worries about a carb over-intake. ๐
