The Trinity Of JE
Their garlicky chicken was highly recommended by both of my friends and colleagues. So i got to try it!! I love Chir Chir for its variety. No matter what you like, fried, sauced, creamy or baked, you have plenty of choices here! Beside chicken dishes, menu also includes salads, cheese fries, soup and drinks! The price is very reasonable, with chicken dishes priced around $30, which are good for two.
They are expanding much quicker thab its competitors. Now with branches at Bedok, Chinatown and Jurong East.
Tip: Option to mix 2 flavours if you are ordering the whole chicken.
Price: $9.90; They have wonderful flavours of ice-cream to choose from. A nice & place to grab some desserts a chill with companies.
A complicated name for those of us who can't read Thai. But essentially, this is a simple French toast topped with minced meat. Interesting as this is my first time trying a savory French toast. The accompanying sauce is spicy and sourish, perfect for a deep fried item. A pretty good starter that made a great snack for me.
A simple sweet-salty snack. Recommended! Originally served with chocolate sauce. But I prefer butterscotch as chocolate was too mainstream. Hehe #halal
According to my friend, it's as good as Pu3, except here no sambal udang:( still #sedap though <3 #food #sgfood #nasiambeng #ambeng #burpple
a plate so big it almost cannot fit the frame. ha. this is communal dining at its finest where all parties makan from the same big plate. my $16 platter could easily feed a family of 3. totally sweated buckets with the sambal but gawd is it so shiok. proteins could have been more tender but everything else was just sedap. incidentally, I was really given a corner before the food came, so relak one corner i did.
Bonito flakes definitely added depth and flavour to the broth. Just a little too salty though... But it was still a good bowl of ramen
Filled with fluffy and subtly tiramisu flavored ice, chewy mini mochi, crunchy biscuits, red beans and a panna cotta covered with a coffee powder rose, this is the Taiwanese version of the all popular Korean bingsu.
It makes quite a special and lovely tiramisu dessert that's also not too sweet. However, my preference still goes to their fruit flavored ice.
Now, as their @westgatesg branch's opening special, if you quote "ladyironchef", you will be able to get their sharing size mango snowflake for only SGD 2! Only till 15 May '16 at their westgate branch! A good chance for you to test out this snowflake ice!
If you are wondering why I passed the SGD 2 Mango Ice to try this SGD 12.90 Tiramisu Ice, it's because I overheard this promo from the next table only after I ordered and paid! I've checked @ladyironchef 's IG page, promo is valid! ☺️
A treat for the erratic weather, the sweet folds of flavoured shaved ice, crowned with a silky-soft panna cotta and chunks of fresh mango was pretty good. Drizzled with condensed milk and mango sauce, the sharing portion of Mango Snowflake Ice with Panna Cotta ($9.90) was a refreshing pick-me-up though I would have preferred a smoother, less icy texture.
A Singapore-exclusive item, and essentially the concept of "dish localization" executed to perfection. The spiciness doesn't just dwell in the sauce - it looks all creamy and harmless but oh, boy - but also in the chicken's marinate. Thus, it's spicy inside out yet restrained enough that your tongue doesn't demand ice treatment but merely a quick rinse. 4.1/5
