Calories donāt count on weekends...which explains why I ended up @denzygelato twice over the weekend. And cos we didnāt want to share, each of us end up having two scoops of gelato!
With the choice of cones, cups or waffles, waffles lover will like their rendition. Beautiful golden Buttermilk Waffles ($5) that's crispy yet light pair with their decadent Dark Chocolate and earthy Houjicha gelato, can we get another one please~

But if youāre an alcohol fan (*I confess Iām one), go for their Whisky and Salted Pecan Brittle ($4.60). A boozy gelato made with aged whisky and spiked with toasted salted pecan.
New gelato option in the heartlands!
The quirky store name meant boh beh zao (incomparable), has brought a new meaning to localised flavours. Presenting a variety of unique yet decadent options such as Green Apple Yakult, Lemongrass Pandan, Cereal Mai Pian and Muah Chee!
Other than Classic Buttermilk Waffles ($5.50), the one that impressed me is their Pandan Gula Melaka Waffles ($6.50). Naturally flavoured, the Pandan waffles has a slightly caramelised fragrance from the Gula Melaka. Pair with special House-made Jam, and Caramelised Cookies and Childhood Milo! Woahhhhhhhh
Crazy weather! One moment itās raining cats and dogs but the next moment itās blazing hot that you can feel sweat trickling down.

Burnt Cones has been making rounds with their interesting cones options - Normal, Slightly Burnt and Burnt. Cook to various degrees and distinguished by the varying browns, the burnt cones has more heady charred fragrance. This goes surprisingly well with their ice cream as it is on the sweet side.
Attracted by the purple, we had Ube on their burnt cone ($6/normal flavour + $1 for cone). It might seem like artificial colouring but Ube (from Philippines) is known for their purple flesh. Do note that this ice cream gets cloying sweet after a few mouthful.
Luckily we gotten the new Signature flavour, Thai Coconut Lychee ($7/scoop + $1 for cone) to go along. A lighter and refreshing ice cream made of creamy coconut and lychee, you'll find bits of lychee within.
Rustic walls with drapes, I felt as if we were transported to an alley cafe in Penang. But thereās no need to travel since this is the second outlet of the halal-certified ice-cream cafe @threesacrowdcafe.
Settled for the Oreo Mint and Berry Cheesecake along with classic Maple Waffles ($13). Decent but unremarkable, waffles were slightly flat and the flavours taste like those from a $1 old school ice cream cart.
P.S: they are on Burpple Beyond now
Say Hay~ Cozy cafe for unique gelato flavours at Bedok. Limited seatings inside (3 tables), but they have more outdoor seatings at night.
Iām not a fan of their slightly dense waffles, but I was pleasantly surprised by how well-balanced fresh strawberries and balsamic vinegar can be. No wonder itās their popular flavour! Matcha is quite intense, great for the first few bites but it leaves a bitter aftertaste
