Chewy rice cake with Tempura. The tempura wasn't special. The rice cake absorbed the Korean chili sauce, it was like a spicy chewy gum. A delight to eat!

Buffet gets me pretty excited all the time.

Heard about Ju Shin Jung from 2 of my friends & I'd say it's worth recommending! Here's their Unlimited BBQ (ala carte style) & I like that they'd offer to grill & cut the meat for you. You also get to choose 1 soup/noodle dish, mine was a sinfully delightful Soya Bean Paste soup. You'd also be served with 12 different side dishes (free-flow!✨) 😆 Total comes up to about $35/pax (after GST/SC). 3.9/5 rated down due to location & variety.
Would want to return to try their lunch sets soon 😋

Craving satisfied 😊 . Still my favourite budaejiggae so far.

Love is when he misspells "cous cous" as "cus cus", "halibut" as "helibert" and "budaejiggae" as "boogeyjiggy", and you think it's the most adorable thing in the world.

By naming the restaurant Kimchi, they better serve some badass kimchi and they definitely lived up to their reputation. Go for a bubbling pot of the tangy and spicy Kimchi Jjijae ($12.90) to have the perfect balance against the blistering cold aircon. I will crave for this kimchi soup next time whenever it's raining.

It was otherwise very well marinated and tasty. The glass noodles cooking in the soup added a refreshing touch. .
