Set Lunches
Ordered the combo ($16.90) that comes with one piece of fish and one piece of chicken + a choice of 2 sides (mash potatoes, French fries and coleslaw). The stall name is "mr fish & chips" so it isn't surprising that most of the patrons ordered the fish and chips ($9.90). One of their main selling points is the malt vinegar that they provide for the fish and chips. The fish is fried to perfection, and it taste like the old school type of western. Not bad but I won't be raving about it (apparently they has a lot media coverage on both channel 8 and 5). I think the chicken turned out to be the hidden gem at the stall! The chicken is juicy on the inside and fried to perfection on the outside! Seasoning of the chicken is superb! I will definitely come back again for the chicken and I want to try the wings next time too! (Prices of wings: 3 for $3 and 5 for $4.50). If you can produce proof of being a student, there's price 25% reduction during lunch! Xoxo, wet tissue no have
Super love the Swensen set lunch because it comes with great choices of free side dish or ice cream (which I almost always go for the icecream). Tried the crispy cornflakes chicken ($15.60) which was mega in size. Tender and moist on the inside and very crunchy on the outside! Recommend this for sharing as I could barely finish half of chicken. Value for money lunch! Xoxo, wet tissue no have
Ordered the pan sear John Dory set lunch ($11.90) which comes with soup of the day (unfortunately the mushroom soup was so salty) and a drink (fruit punch or lime juice). The dory with the breaded crumbs was yummy but a tad too salty. They also have 10% discount for Pokemon trainer but that's only applicable for the ala carte. Xoxo, wet tissue no have
