Japanese & Ramen?
i like the springy ramen so much! and the chasu are fresh and soft to bite. the soup is smell good once it reach infront of me and also rich in taste but not greasy. side snacks are just ok, well.
The Sanpou Tonkotsu Ramen's a good bet...noodles, broth, and meat come together for a delightful treat.
Had the Black Spicy tori King ramen w all toppings added at $16.90, also free flow eggs and bean sprouts. Some of you may find the broth rather thick in texture but that's also because there is collagen in it. 🍜
This super popular ramen chain from Japan has been pretty well received in Singapore. Known for their garlic tonkotsu broth, their signature Arashi Genkotsue Ramen and unique Ginjiro Ramen with a tonkotsu and bonito broth are crowd-pleasers. For garlic-lovers, they also offer freshly pressed garlic at the table for you to make sure your ramen packs the right amount of garlicy punch. According to Tastemaker Alain, 'This Arashi Genkotsu Ramen, with secret Tonkotsu broth was full of natural sweetness and thickness. One of the best selling ramen, a must try!'
Of the four special ramens available at the Parkway Parade outlet, all of which are inspired by festivals in Japan, it was the Tonkotsu Ramen Nebuta that I picked. What drew me to it was my curiosity as to how the usually super potent pork-based soup that this chain is known for, would taste when tempered with a fish stock. Got to say I really liked it. Made with sun-dried Japanese sardines, the fish stock introduced a different facet of sweetness in the broth. And in the process, rendered it somewhat less "heavy", which suited my palate well. The flavoured egg was excellent as always.
By far this is the best place to go for spicy miso ramen. I don't really fancy the pork. The soup is very tasty, ramen is perfect, there's some minced chicken and cabbage that is so nicely done
Tried the spicy miso Kazan. Soup is tasty and very hot! Concept is nice. Good place to go for lunch
Really love the broth, thick and somewhat sticky (somewhat collagen-like?) at the end. And not forgetting the free flow eggs, although personally I don't really like hard boiled egg💁🏻. For fuss-free ramen cravings 😍
Great bowl of ramen during a rainy day. Soup is very flavorful and who doesn't love runny egg yolks?! Ps/ 10% off if you flash your student pass from Mon - Thu ;)
The pork cheeks were so succulent and tender that it melts instantly in your mouth the moment you put it in. Simply too good!
However, the ramen here was a letdown for me. Not springy enough for me, but the pork cheeks made up for it I guess. 😊 #Sgfood #Foodphotography
Probably one of the best chicken broth ramen in Singapore! The kind that doesn't leave your lips feeling overly oily after. Springy thin strands of ramen, a single extremely tender slice of chasiu, seaweed and spring onions. The onsen egg was an additional add-on order, roasted garlic chips served on the table as a condiment (which you may or may not want to pile on, depending on who you're meeting after the meal). I, of course, gladly spooned in a couple of scoops into my broth, speak to me at your own risk 🙊

The star would definitely be the pork and especially its pork cheek (toruniku) offerings. It's the kind of pork that defies physics and leaves you to wonder what state of matter it is. Is it a solid or liquid? We don't know but it just melts in your mouth.
