The much raved and photographed dessert certainly lived up to its name. The hotcake was served freshly-made, so it has a 20 minute waiting time but it definitely is worth it. The hotcake itself was super moist and fluffy inside, and it is steaming when you cut it open. The slightly crisp exterior coupled with the fluffy makes for an irresistible combination. A generous serving of strawberries, blueberries and sunflower seeds are given, and the tart fruits helped to cut through the slightly heavy dish that can get a bit jelat after a while. The maple syrup and ice cream helps to moisten things, although I wish they had given more ice cream because there was just so much hotcake. Nevertheless this is a must order at this place, and can easily be shared with 3-4 people as it's a rather large portion. Priced at $14.90
After this, I fear to order from green French Toasts from other places because I don't want to be disappointed.
Finally here! Am glad I came. The thick and fluffy French toast is really good. Next time I will order an extra pork sausage to go with it!! Love it!! Happy tummy!! Totally worth the calories!! 👍🏼
Brioche French toast with brûléed bananas, bacon and honeycomb butter! $18! Heavenly on the first bite, then gets a little gelat after awhile. Perfect for sweet tooths though! :)

Travel around Asia in a bowl of noodles - HK style dumplings, Vietnam inspired potato wrapped prawn, Japanese style char shiu and onsen egg and Singapore noodles. Noodle strands are a tad clumpy but the toppings are delicious and the product of the pair's culinary innovation.
Quite the underrated gem, Claude's is definitely worth an exploratory visit - there's quite the variety of desserts (think pancakes and Shibuya toasts) and brunch options (quesadillas, pita sandwiches and your usual mac & cheese, full English breakfasts etc).
Discovered this new grocery takeaway concept opened by The Lab (2 stores down The Lab).
Ordered this waffles which was recommended by the staff. At only $10, you get a full waffle with an ice cream. The waffle was airy and very fluffy, though it could be a little more crispy although I am definitely not complaining.
The waffles is sprinkled with generous amounts of cinnamon sugar giving the waffle a crispy crunchy kind of feel. The maple walnut ice cream was yummy with small bits of walnut inside. Though I am not a fan of nuts in general, I enjoyed it.
At $10 only, this dish is a steal. This place is definitely one to look out for. As this is a takeaway concept, customers can order here and proceed to The Lab to enjoy their food and drinks.
At least we know that their ice cream and waffles are not limited to being good on Sunday's only. I had the seasalt gula Melaka and my friend got the dark chocolate. Presentation is definitely a 9/10. The food was a 8/10. Crispy waffles with a moist inside and really good soft serve ice cream. Their best sellers were the seasalt gula Melaka and earl grey lavender however I liked the dark chocolate better. Almost every waffle parlor I go to has seasalt gula Melaka and earl grey lavender I don't think it's that unique anymore but the dark chocolate... That was really good. It actually tasted dark. Slightly more on the pricey side selling at $8.80 for one waffle and soft serve ice cream whereas other places sell at the same price for two waffles instead of one. But it's safe to say it was worth the money. I'll be coming back soon!
Deconstructed desserts are usually associated with fine(r)-dining, but Lola's now offers a small variety of plated desserts. Ranging from just $7 to $10, these lovely treats taste as good as they look! Go for the beautifully caramelised French Toast ($9) or the Odd Fellow ($7), a refreshing combination of zippy passion fruit curd and basil ice cream.
Love how they made the waffles thick and crisp (reminds me of the taste in A&Ws when I was a kid). Legit pistachio flavored too. Even if you don't want any ice cream, just the waffle alone with honey is lovely. Customer Service: Great! Initially their machine for a flavor wasn't working and we couldn't get our first order.. But as soon as the machine was up, we were served one cup of it awww. Last thing: love the way Sunday Folks look into details such as placing a biscuit just below the ice cream, so to not let the melted ice cream ruin the waffle. Great effort there Folks!
