Flaky croissant stuffed chock full of luscious egg mayonnaise (which consisted of more egg than mayonnaise - perfect). Shoutout also to the sake kasu cheesecake and the lemon tart - both were also on point.
Rather satisfying with a VERY generous portion of meat. The true star of our meal was the prompt and friendly service - our waiters were super personable and friendly. Of course, the beautiful space helped. Great place to relax on a weekend. We'll be back to try their Sunday roast - we saw huge Yorkshire puddings teetering on plates.
Bun was a little dry. Nice crunch and acidity from the kimchi, but the creme fraiche was a little out of place. Decent.
Deliveroo to the rescue when it's raining outside. Very tasty, and I liked that it was a fried chicken thigh. Unfortunately it was a bit soggy when it arrived - as expected - but the small bits that were still crunchy were delightful. Solid bread, as always.
They weren't kidding when they said molten cheese and many many slices of beef. This was stuffed chock full of thin beef slices that had been tossed in rich cheese sauce. Very messy to eat but very satisfying. And as it turns out, there's such a thing as too much meat - and that's cos the bread was too good!
Brioche, salami, coppa, rosette, pancetta, sundried tomato aioli and fresh mozzarella. At $16 this is definitely not just any other sandwich. The slightly sweet brioche was wonderful, and contrasted well with the savory components of the sandwich. The cured meats were of excellent quality as well, and portions were generous. Tearing open the waxed paper to reveal the two neat halves of the sandwich was an experience in itself, actually.
Bacon stuffed pork patty, caramelised onions, grilled pineapple, Monterey Jack cheese and mayo. Looked rather squashed due to it being wrapped in paper. But the nondescript look of it was deceiving - this was super satisfying and delicious. Particularly like that the burger was well-grilled with little crispy bits but still juicy. Was also pleasantly surprised by the size of the burger, it was quite hefty for $10. Pretty good lunch option along Boat Quay.
Perfect medium rare and super juicy (spot the meat juices on the board!). Fries were also hot and crispy, and coleslaw refreshing. Would have liked a few more mushrooms though.
Look at that cheese stuffed mushroom that pretty much obscured the meat patty. This was kinda glorious, though I still prefer the original shack burger for its unadulterated beefy goodness.
Wasn't expecting much but I really liked this. While it wasn't buttermilk fried chicken (a girl can dream...), the fried chicken was crispy and well-seasoned, and went very well with the soft buns (still as good!). The sweet potato fries were also on point 👌🏻 I rarely find legit crispy bits on sweet potato fries but there were plenty here. I think it's one of the best I've eaten. Once again it's pricey but I couldn't finish one side of fries on my own so two people could technically share a side order of fries.
Impressed with this. I can see why people have said that this is the Singapore version of Shake Shack - the style of cooking is similar. Loved the burger bun in particular; it was super soft and fluffy. $14.90 for a regular cheese burger and $6.30 for cheese fries is rather pricey... But the portion of fries was big and had a generous dollop of cheese sauce.
