Buenas noches! A trip to Barcelona as we dine in @tapas24sg the first Asian outpost of Barcelonian restaurant helmed by Michelin-starred @CarlesAbellanchef

For mains, we had the Paella de Gambas Al Ajillo, a hearty update to the classic garlic prawn dish (Gambas Al Ajillo) served with seasonal vegetables and mushrooms. Scoring a beautiful soccarat (crusty crispy base), the rich Spanish staple is umami-laden which we soon polished off.

And you can’t leave without having a tipple or two, especially when they serve variety of cavas, sangrias and Spanish wines.

Pan-fried tender cutlets of milk-fed baby lamb comes with greens and perfectly roasted potatoes. Served in olive oil and white wine reduction, it enhances the cutlets natural flavour.

A pricey place but since there 1-for-1 on the #EntertainerApp, we don't mind trying.

Decided to go for Ice Cream & Churros set whereby you can choose either the plain, cinnamon or sugar churros and dip it in soft serve. Standard of churros is similar to that in Korea but I don't really fancy the soft serve which more of icy texture.

Note: since churros are freshly made in the store, so do expect long waiting time. Even while I'm munching churros here, they had to stop the queue once.

What better way to spend it with friends drinking Sangria and sampling the array of tapas till late. Do remember to order Patatas Bravas, feisty fried potato with devil's alioli while you're there. It's devilish good that the three of us just can't stop eating. So it might be better if you get one each.

The chef had "beaten" the octopus so that it is tender yet juicy. It is then coated with the paprika and olive oil, cut into small bite sized thus easy to eat while sipping a glass of sangria. Homemade potato purée is served on the side. This is one of the place that open till late. You can also make reservation for this place via @chopesg too!

This tapas dish has fresh shrimps cooked in a dish of boiling olive oil with garlic, chili and smoked paprika. The rich broth taste so good even with just a piece of bread!
