This Blueberry Ricotta Bacon Pancake is so so so so so good! Crispy on the outside while moist on the inside, topped with fresh berries and STREAKY BACON, drizzled with maple syrup and finished of with vanilla bean ice cream. The deadly combination of these things makes it SO GOOD!!!! BUTTTTT only available Mon-Fri 9am to 12pm in limited portion.

I like my crepes soft, delicate and paper-thin so, sadly, the slightly stiff ones here didn't impress; they should have have been about half their thickness.

That said, they did have a lovely colour on them and the spotlight was very much hogged by the artisanal yuzu-infused butter, which was all sorts of deliciousness in aroma, texture and taste.

get a Double Scoop here then. Double Scoop (Waffle Crisp, Honey Crunch Corn Flakes) with Mini Marshmallows and Fresh Milk

Early flight tomorrow & looking forward to meeting @jadechin for lots of makan! Overseas insta-meet hiak 😉

Nestled in the quiet Biopolis cluster at One-North, Tête-à-Tête Café (pronounced "tatt-a-tatt") is a Parisian-style cafe serving cakes, pastries, brunch and an extensive selection of Basilur teas. With its wondrously high ceiling and spaciousness, this place makes for a perfect hideaway for those in the West, especially on Saturdays. Go for the Lemon Meringue Tart ($6.90) or the Flourless Black Forest Cake ($7.90) for something light, or bring your friends and treat yourselves to a Pastry Trio ($18 for three pastries) and pair it with some of their Basilur Specialty Teas ($5 for a small pot; $9 for a large pot).

It appears that there is an opening of a new Korean dessert joint every few weeks, and joining Banana Tree this month is O'ma Spoon, situated on the fourth floor of Marina Square. O'ma Spoon offers a variety of milk-based bingsus in both single and 2-people portions as well as a few other items such as their Injeolmi Toast, with the price ranging from $4.80 to $22.80. Go for their Strawberry and Green Tea Bingsus for a cooling, melt-in-your-mouth treat.

Located next to Jewel Cafe + Bar on Rangoon Road, yogurt joint The Cold Pantry has recently revamped their menu. They now offer both yogurt and soft serve options, as well as a variety of quirky flavoured speciality waffles. If you're in the mood for something savoury, go for the mildly spicy Mexican Nachos or the chicken Bak Kua Meltz waffles (both $10). For those with a sweet tooth, go for the Kaya Toast or Sea-salt Caramel waffles (both $8), or go big with the signature Chocolate Root Beer waffle with charcoal vanilla ice cream and drizzled with homemade root beer sauce ($12.50) — it's a sinful treat you won't regret having!

The famous Dazzling Cafe from Taiwan makes it way to our shores! Expect beautifully plated items such as their stunning signature Shibuya Toasts, served by waitresses dressed as French maids in a setting that is dainty with an air of whimsy. Be sure to try the gorgeous Matcha with Azuki Beans Honey Toast ($19.90). Their savoury items here are surprisingly good, especially the Singapore-only exclusive Spicy Seafood Tomyam Tomato Spaghetti ($22.90). Be warned — the queue is formidably long.

Nunsaram (which means "Snowman" in Korean) is the latest in the wave of Korean dessert cafes that have sprouted in the past few months. Specialising in Bingsu, the cafe serves the usual flavours you can expect such as Injeolmi, Strawberry and Black Sesame. Go for the Green Tea Bingsu ($13.90) or the Mango Bingsu ($15.90). You can also find sides such as Garlic Cheese Bread ($7.90) if you crave something savoury.

Have you ever had frozen custard? Situated at Short Street near the famous Rochor Bean Curd, Density Frozen Custard offers an all-American premium ice cream experience. Priced from $4 onwards, the ice cream is churned daily using natural ingredients, and egg yolks as a stabliser. The minimal air incorporated into the making of the frozen custard thus requiring the use of less sugar (supposedly half the amount in a regular froyo). Aside from their regular flavours such as Madagascan Vanilla Bean, you can expect a rotating selection of Daily Specials such as Quadruple Chocolate, Gingerbread and Strawberry Shortcake.

I feel like I need to travel to somewhere colder soon.
