If you've skipped dinner (gasp!) during a long workday, come into the loving embrace of Seng Kee. Their awesome Mee Sua, with its soupy herbal infusion, will bring you back to Ah Ma's kitchen. You can choose from several variations- lean pork slices, kidneys, beancurd, and even fried meesua with crab. It's not Ah Ma, but Ah Ma's probably sleeping at 3am (best not to wake her).

Everyone flocks to Two Chefs for their famous Butter Pork Ribs, but you should also order regular favourites like the Salted Egg Prawns and Golden Mushroom Beancurd. If you like cockles, you won't be disappointed with their fresh garlic and chili cockles. Prepare to queue, this is a popular spot for groups of friends, with their reasonable prices and generous portions.

Not only do they serve standard zi char items, New Ubin also dabbles in Angus steak and German pork trotters. The famous steak (reasonable at $10 per 100g) comes with potato wedges, caramalized onions and amazing, heart-stopping fried rice cooked in the beef fat. Their standout zi char dishes include the Salted Egg Squid, Har Cheong Gai, and of course, crab!
