Which is your favourite stall there, and which hawker centre should I cover next? #DFDHawker
This stall at MacPherson features plump crabmeat wonton, also with waterchestnut, in both soup and deep fried versions.
The wanton are definitely the highlight, esp the crisp ones with that light crunch.
Think what could be improved is the sauce, somehow lacking of that touch to elevate to another level.
Still a good plate. #dfdnoodles #dfdhawker
The Zi char restaurant is New Ubin Seafood, with some outstanding dishes.
We were craving for a Teochew Orh Nee (never mind the calories), was a tad dry. Still satisfying.
The Hokkien Mee is one of the best I ever had, full of 'zup'. So feel like da-taoing home for it to absorb the sauce.
Guess where?! Clue: It serves Black Angus Ribeye Steak!
This is a plate of Hokkien Prawn Noodles, yellow noodles cooked in prawn & rib stock. Seductively yummy.
Some people asked why must I shoot #instavideo for every single of my post? Well, it allows you to see & hear the food.
Because I want to show you unique sights of my country, that you can see the lady standing on a stool taking orders. It's funny yet so charmingly Singapore.
And boy oh boy, I loved its presentation, springiness of the noodles, sauce, Chilli, fresh dumplings.... Actually everything.
No queue yet, so everything was very peaceful and calm, staff and owners were Friendly... Nobody scolding each other in Cantonese. So rare right?
Still as good, Find out where Kok Kee moved to from http://danielfooddiary.com/2015/03/11/kokkee
