So dinz was at Isola restaurant which serves Italian food.
First of all, I would like to say that its my first time seeing tenderloin paired with risotto on a menu & having it (its always paired with mushrooms & more mushrooms). The combination is GENIUS! When the risotto gets a little too much, a bite of tenderloin cleanses my palate instantly & completely. Shifting me into another dimension until my next mouthful of risotto. Risotto isn’t a ‘photogenic’ kinda food & it might look plain but I promise it packs a punch when done well!
The rest of the food are above average, fresh ingredients used is evident in the taste.
Skip the Aglio Olio though, its not full of garlic & spicy like what we are used to!
I would say the prices are really reasonable given the standard.
This was mind-blowing!! I was in food heaven the whole time I was having it. The fettuccine and sauce was superb, huge chunks of fresh crab meat further complements and elevates the taste of it. Must order, must try. You'll never regret having it.
Must have for pizza lovers! Loaded w copious amount of toppings and having an extremely thin, crisp crust makes it outstanding on it's own. Crust remains crisp even after some time, so you can take your time to savor it in between other dishes.
Great for starters, a good combination of sweet and savory. You can never go wrong w this crowd pleaser.
Found this by chance and I think its such a hidden gem! Although the grilled chicken doesn't taste out of this world, but this dish is pretty neat considering its $8 (before gst). Definitely enough to fill my tummy. The environment itself was one of its kind too, very inviting and cosy. It was full house (indoors and outdoors) during lunch hours and there was a long queue when I was about to go. Their menu is quite extensive I would say, do check them out if you're around Chinatown. Lunch menu is only available on weekdays 12-3pm.
