Burgundy snails served piping hot with tomato fondue and almond garlic butter. Couldn't really taste the garlic butter as it was masked by the tomato taste. Nothing fantastic about this dish either.
Latest addition to their menu, this "pizza" is not your usually dough-based crust, but a thin buttery flaky pastry. However, it was served rather cold and the pastry was no longer flaky and crispy, but a tad soggy and lacked the buttery aroma.
Raved as the latest addition to their menu, this dish was a tad disappointing. Portion was way too small as the fillet was too thin to taste the freshness. However, the white wine sauce that accompanied the essence of the fish that oozed out when it was baked was sweet and savory. Otherwise, it was only laden with some sautéed greens. Not worth the price tag!
Basically just a baguette filled with some greens, tuna and hard-boiled egg, alongside thick fries. The tuna was too salty and we couldn't even finish it. Bread was too dry and stale. Not worth the price tag at all.
Duck leg cooked with a rich sauce infused with wine and bacon bits. Meat was tender, but lacked the wow factor which would make me return for it.
We ordered 2 halfs each of the classic mushroom Chardonnay sauce - a creamy white blend of mushrooms infused with white wine, and the other being a brown flavorful mushroom sauce filled with bacon bits. We preferred the brown mushroom sauce as it complemented the tender chicken well (even the chicken breast was amazingly tender), compared to the creamy white sauce which got too overwhelming and too much (jelat) towards the end. Nonetheless, chicken was tender and fresh.
Grilled pork sausages that came with a unique mustard sauce and fig marmalade that complemented the sausages well. Personally preferred the mustard over the marmalade as I found the latter sweet and a tad unsuitable with the savory sausages. Felt that the sausages could be done better and of better quality as they weren't exactly the kinds which bursted in your mouth.
Rich in flavour and laden with soft, caramelised onions and cheese croutons that were a perfect match for this flavorful broth.
