From the folks behind Lola's, they've now opened a new cafe in the west (pasir panjang). Tried the Duck leg with mash, crispy honey wings, tomato swimmer crab linguine as well as fries with truffle mayo. All the food were to my liking but I would prefer truffle fries than to truffle mayo, me no like mayo and I feel that it's better to serve the fries in a shallow basket so that the ones below won't turn soggy. One more fave cafe into my list. Spent a total of $65. Staff are pretty helpful and friendly, love their interior too. Oh, and their beans are from Dutch colony as well if you're wondering 😉😄

Not your typical BBQ pork ribs, Oriole dishes out tender, fall-off-the-bone, asian inspired pork ribs. Rubbed with their special blend of kicap-manis chilli marinade and accompanied by sambal matah, this version of ribs gives you a mix of sweet, tangy and spicy! Sweet potato fries are also served instead of the usual, adding a further touch of uniqueness to your experience here at Oriole. One of my favourite things about Oriole is that they are one of the participating Merchants in The Entertainer, which means 1-for-1 Main Courses ^^ and the St Louis' Pork Ribs is one of the main courses up for offer ( ˘ڡ˘ ). P.S Get a pint of draft Kronenburg Blanc (1-for-1 everyday from 3pm-9pm) to go with your ribs to make your dining experience an even better one.

Toa Payoh ice-cream parlour Creamier has just recently opened a sister outlet named Sunday Folks at Chip Bee Gardens, but with a twist. Instead of featuring scooped ice-cream, Sunday Folks offer six flavours of ice-cream all dispensed from a golden tap attached behind the counter. Go for the waffles for a safe choice, which are the same ones that Creamier serve or go for the soft-serve in handmade cones to try something new and add a topping or two such as fruits or Japanese Mochi if you fancy. Still not convinced? They serve cakes that are baked in-house too; something that Creamier does not serve, and the wide aisles in between the seats makes the outlet more spacious and comfortable than the claustrophobic one at Toa Payoh. If you fancy Creamier ice-cream, this is one spot you cannot miss!

I will travel to Envy Coffee for good honest food and drinks with excellent service. Complimentary wifi is a bonus. Check out the hot pink Burpple decal. They have just been Burptified a good spot to chill even if you're not a Westsider it's worth the visit.
