Interesting meat like oesophagus, heart and beef liver to try out! They were all Surprisingly okay, no funny smell or taste, and all had interesting texture.

Start off with the Soup of the day ($3.50), ours was truffle mushroom soup that again was of a good portion - I can definitely imagine myself coming here just for soup if I was studying here.

So near my house yet I've never been here - seriously #fail especially it's LAKSA (my favourite food) in Steamboat version!

The laksa Steamboat base is really good - homemade recipe that is thick and creamy! It's a pretty affordable buffet as well, think free flow laksa soup and your usual Steamboat ingredients like vegetables, radish, meatballs etc. Don't forget to order the fish slices, really fresh and flaky!

Really love the fresh ingredients for steamboat here (the tofu skin, luncheon meat, super tender Pork collar, Beef shirt Rib Slices and juicy dumplings!) Oh my, the pig liver was so good 🙃The mushroom base was great - till they added the chicken soup stock in without the mushroom Essence and the mala base was on the oilier side but super spicy and shiok!
Super affordable set menu for 6 at $180 (around $30+ per pax!) - that comes with premium pork collar and US short ribs!
Pro Tip: preorder the Crispy Taro Balls ($7.80) when you reserve your seats here - they sell out real fast!

Now I know where to go if I have nothing to eat near my house on rainy nights. The peppery BKT will definitely warm you up from the inside.

They also sell Pig Trotters that looks really good, would Try that next time :)

Newer outlet of Beauty in A Pot at Centrepoint - same concept but seems like service was a bit lacking here. Food was good as usual nevertheless.

The soup was flavourful with quite generous amount of fish maw given for the $8 bowl, comes with a bowl of BCM as well. Love the addition of the goji berries and how the livers are perfectly cooked (placed in the bowl raw and cooked when the boiling hot soup rains upon it).
