I had visited a lot of chicken rice stalls but this stall was something special. Their roasted chicken wasn't as fragrant as others. Their soft boiled chicken wasn't as tender as others. Their char siew wasn't as juicy as others. Their roasted pork belly wasn't as crispy as others. BUT

In my secondary days, I will always passed by this stall on my way home. Most of my visits, I will ordered roasted chicken with either char siew or roasted pork belly. The uncle would see me in my school uniform and always give me a little more. However, after I graduated, my number of visits had reduced dramatically. During my recent visit, the auntie actually still remembered me and my usual order! The smell of the garlicky rice brought back memories of me eating while watching my favorite animes. #Hawkerpedia
