Went to KOF and ordered their Mala Fried Rice with Chicken Cutlet and added Ebiko ($8.50)!😇 Also tried abit of their tom yum fried rice and both were greattt😍 I like the mala one more but personal preference😅
Overall ratings 8/10! Although the chicken is juicy, id prefer the pork chop as its more fragrant😁 Loving the fried rice as always and hands down golden mile outlet is the og outlet🤣
We visited King Of Fried Rice for the second time as we were really impressed by the XO Pork Chop Fried Rice and Tomyum Fried Rice the first time round! This time, we decided to order something different and we tried out the Mala Pork Chop Fried Rice. The rice was fried with mala sauce and you can taste the distinct flavour of mala in the rice - it was great because it wasn't too spicy and the eatery did not go overboard on the numbness. Furthermore, the fried rice still comes with it's awesome wok hey and it wasn't overly soggy like some of the fried rice stalls in Singapore so it was great!
The pork chop is the same as that served in the other dishes and it was grilled to give it's exterior a light crisp. At the same time, the meat was sufficiently tender. However, we thought it would be great if the pork chop could be coated with mala paste/marinade as well. The dish costs $7.50 and being only $1 more than the usual egg fried rice, we think it is a steal since not many places serve mala fried rice in Singapore!
That being said, the outlet here has become smaller as the unit next door is no longer under the same stall. As a result, there are now a lot fewer tables and bigger groups may find it harder to get a seat. 😐
Adding more flavours to the already fragrant and good egg fried rice. We all love this tom yum fried rice for its tangy and appetising flavour. It was good and addictive without being overly sour or spicy. Topped it off with their flavourful and tender pork chop and it's perfect with no regrets 》$7
This plate of X.O egg fried rice is perfect with a nice smoky wok-hei without being too moist or dry while the pork chop was flavourful. It was well marinated and grilled to a beautiful golden brown colour with a tender bite. This reminds me so much of DTF without their service and a very wallet-friendly price. They also use short grain rice just like DTF. I added tobiko for the extra crunch 》$7.80 + $1 Tobiko
It has been a while, satify my craving for Pork Cutlet Fried Rice!

Finally tried the all-popular fried rice that everyone has been talking about for some time. The XO fried rice with shrimp and added tobiko ($8.90) had a good wok hei, and the prawns were very plump and fresh. I can't really taste the XO though... Perhaps the egg fried rice version is good enough. The tobiko was a good addition, with the added seafood flavour to the dish! Gonna try the rice with pork chop the next time round, saw my friend ordered that and the pork chop was HUGE!
