The thick, gooey, starchy and nicely flavoured braised sauce is well-balanced and savoury. Each bowl is accompanied by braised pork belly, fish fritters, fishcake, fried wanton, ngoh hiang and crispy fish skin. Remember to bite the fried fish skin first and not leave it soaking in the braised sauce for too long. Feel free to request more condiments such as chopped garlic, chilli padi, sambal belacan and black vinegar as it complements and brings the flavours of lor mee to another level 》$3 / Small
How to spot a popular stall in a hawker center? One that has a queue even before lunch crowd arrives. Though popular stall does not always means you will enjoy the food, I certainly enjoyed this Lor Mee.
Following my grandma’s usual lor mee order in the past, I asked for more vinegar and garlic, enhancing the taste of this bowl of lor mee.
Comes in 3 pricing, but note that only the $4 & $5 bowl contains fish skin. Added $2 worth of fried fish because I really love it.
Though Golden Mile Food Center will be close for renovations from December 2020, you can still enjoy their Lor Mee as they are opening second branch at Ghim Moh!
Its pack separately between noodle, gravy and fried ingredients, so cust don't need to worry that it not longer crispy for the fried ingredients.
I choose flat yellow noodle serve with thick but not starchy gravy, and a lot of ingredients like fried wantons, fishcake, pork belly and crispy fish skin.

For $4, it’s the best lor mee I’ve ever had. Plenty of ingredients but the noodles portion is pretty average. Do opt for the $5 bowl for a bigger portion and more ingredients.
