My family and I have been enjoying Johan Paris pastries for years! They make my favourite Kouign-Amann (i would guess most cafes carry theirs), under $3. During Christmas season, they have their seasonal specials - Pantonne and Christmas Stollen. Definitely a treasure amongst our heartland shopping malls!

The cream has a bit of cheese, but the joy comes from the rich melty chocolate chunks and the tart berries. A wonderful combination and so indulgent! Get it before it goes

I finally see this again. Not sure why it wasn't available whenever I visited for the longest time. Really nostalgic cos I wanted to try it at least a year ago and it inspired my dessert for my first cooking date

Slightly chewy, w bursts of soft apple. The tea taste was but a hint. Not super Impressive but somehow quite addictive

A limited time one at Johan Paris! Croissant had a nice crunch with butterscotch sweetness. Its tag mentioned that it has melty cheese, but there wasn’t much actually. It was more of small sweet cheese cubes. Thought it’d be nice to have a savoury touch instead to balance it out!

Been the biggest fan of Japanese mochi bread since they appear in SG many years back & during my stay in JP 🇯🇵, I also took the chance to always try new flavours! Similar to the Brazilian Pão de Queijo, but made with glutinous rice flour as opposed to tapioca flour, I love their super chewy texture😬⁣⁣

Chanced upon this new flavour- Shoyu Cheese 🧀, made of shredded mozzarella, gouda cheese & diced processed cheese topped with shoyu sauce & seaweed, I really like this creative savoury flavour as it reminded me of the yaki shoyu mochi 🍘 (Grilled Japanese Rice Cake) that I really love ❤️ The addition of seaweed 🌊 gave it a nice seafood aftertaste, mild but sophisticated enough to make it unique! ⁣⁣

A flavour that isn’t too mainstream, but definitely a bite size savoury delight that highlights the taste of Japanese shoyu & seaweed in a different form😍

Love chewy mochi bread heh i like it sweet but mentaiko one is good too!!!
