Went there 3rd Nov 2021 Tue night jux before closing. I order the hazelnut latte for a quick drink. It's pretty ok reminds me alot of nice Milo. Not sure if people find it worth paying cafe price for nice milo though. The closing counter staff is really friendly. Hope to go again and try their hot chocolate and food if I have the time.

The skillet baked eggs with grilled vegetables ($11) is a bit of a misnomer - there were a mere 5 slices of zucchini/ eggplant with mushrooms and beans. The whole dish was too watery, with the tomato concasse dolloped over!

The flat white ($5) uses their specialty in-house blend! Smooth and surprisingly, mildly sweet with skimmed milk. Gets quite crowded so you’d probably only get to linger over your cup if you avoid lunch hour!

And quite a nice one ....

I had J&D coffee once quite a Long time back but was not impressed for some reason .

But I couldn’t help think why my friends would pay 39 dollars for their coffee card .

So I thought I should re-visit . The coffee this time was good and quite unforgettable I should say. Or perhaps because the small size flat white was quite small that it had to be savoured slowly....

Or perhaps it was the people watching and relaxing vibes at their Novena outlet that added that oomph to the coffee .

Topped up 60cents to have milk base changed to soy and the coffee was still smooth and aromatic .

Will their signature joe 1914 next time since that was highly recommended by the server .

Coffee at this time of the day ??? I must have had such a stressful day - that this was very much needed 🤪

It’s a mean cup of joe - pretty decent coffee with nice latte art.

I’ve never tried a chocolate matcha fusion drink so when I saw this at Joe & Dough, I definitely had to try it. A large hot chocolate matcha latte will set you back by $6.50, with an additional $0.60 if you wish to change the milk to soy milk. Quite a pricey addition as compared to other coffee joints.

The beverage was served to our table with pretty decent latte art - I found the contrast between the brown cocoa and pale green matcha very unique. Tastewise, this was more of a cocoa drink than a matcha drink. Like the matcha latte, the taste of matcha in this drink is quite faint. It does pass off as a decent cup of hot chocolate, although not the most chocolatey. Nice to try for a change, but not worth the price point for a reorder.
