The next time I'm there, I'm gonna order 1 just for myself. They are located inside punggol settlement. Good to drop by for dinner after cycling or activities there. Oh and they have apple cubes inside too. 2 of my favourite in 1 dish. If you are afraid for that the wasabi is too spicy, worry not cause it's mixed with mayo so it isn't very spicy. Just mild spiciness. 😋

3 pointers:
1) Fresh & Huge - The prawns are still crunchy inside even though it's crispy on the surface.
2) Wasabi sauce - Not overpowering and it makes the fried prawns appetising. Wont get sick of eating them.
3) THESE PRAWNS ARE PEELED! - Need i say more.

Craving for this perfectly steamed red garoupa with crispy salted turnips aka chai po. Brilliant play on using something so familiar to many in a different way. I like how the crispy chai po added some texture and savory to the firm yet delicate flesh of the red garoupa. The red garoupa was so fresh can.. Give me a bowl of rice to go with it and I would be a happy gal. 😋😋😋😋😋

I was so excited to find this La La Hor Fun at Jing Long Restaurant yesterday. As a Heng Hwa, I have a really soft spot for anything lala. While this plate of Hor fun could have a stronger lala flavour in its broth, it really stands out as a plate of Hor fun itself. That crispy thing you see on top, is deep friend Hor fun and below it is the boiled Hor fun noddles. This 2-in-1 variation brought an added dimension to the dish. Also, the Hor fun reeks strongly of wok hei. Do remember to add in some of their homemade Chilli paste! The flavours are so complementary, we wiped out the whole plate as quickly as it was served.
This is Jin Long's latest branch at The Punggol Settlement. Food quality seems to be higher than their main branch at Bedok. This was 3rd dish as part of a wedding menu.
Tossed in a feisty sambal sauce perforated by crushed peanuts for a slight sandy texture. What's everyone having tonight？

I am not a fan of fried fish as it is hard and dry but wow , this deep fried Tilapia is just so 👍! The crunch of the crispy skin is a wonderful contrast to the delicate flesh of the snapper ! And good news! Enjoy 30% off aka carte menu on weekdays! .
