@hyangyeon_kfood's set lunches are value for money and yummy too! I had a kongguksu and added chicken to my set for an additional $3! The servings were generous and the kongguksu was refreshing on a hot day too! Can't wait to try the other items when I can come back

Heard alot about how popular this Korean restaurant is, and true enough it's really packed even on a weekday night. Instead of their bbq, we were craving some stews and we got the Gamjatang ($55).

When the portion of stew came, I knew that this can definitely feed 3 people. Not only the portion was huge, it came with 8 side dishes! The side dishes were pretty unique and they were all well seasoned, especially the chilli potatoes.

The stew itself was very hearty, not too spicy and had numerous ingredients including pork bones (with some really tender meat in them) and various vegetable and mushroom ingredients. Definitely a wonderful dish that is great for sharing among friends! Both of us couldn't finish the portion definitely.

Honestly quite an authentic place and I do see myself coming back. Have had their bbq buffet at their Chinatown point outlet before and it was good too!

One of the better Korean BBQs I have tried in Singapore thus far. Introduced by a friend for our long overdue get-together, @hyangyeon_kfood at Telok Ayer impressed us very much with their solid Banchan (the kimchi wasn’t too sour which is how I prefer mine and they didn’t drag their feet when we requested for repeated refills), very satisfying Beef Bone Soup ($16++), tasty Seafood and Kimchi Korean Pancakes ($22++ for the combo plate) and most important of all, the meats. We made a beeline for the Tong Galbi Gui, a huge slab of marinated bone-in beef short rib ($98++, feeds 2 to 3 pax) and Duroc Pork Belly ($28++). Loved both, especially since the staff handled the grilling for us (it was done over a gas fire at our table) to ensure the meats were cooked to tender, juicy perfection. I must agree with Fengyi that this KBBQ restaurant serves high quality beef and pork. Will be back to this branch for sure!

This place has best gamjatang in Singapore. Order a large one and you can claim 1 soju bottle for free 😆 must eat fried rice afterwards!!!!

The hot stone bibimbap was very delicious! It came with carrots, beansprouts, cucumber, spinach, mushrooms, some korean veg (I rly dk what it is), beef slices and a fried egg. The mushrooms and beef were particularly flavourful, and I liked that there were crisp rice bits at the bottom! It rly retained heat well, and the food was still piping hot towards the end of the meal. The soup of the day was a fish cake leek soup which was quite peppery, and for the sides I chose the beef, seasoned beansprouts, broccoli and lotus root. Didn’t rly like the beef side dish as it was tough; beansprouts were tasty; broccoli was average; my fav was the crunchy and sweet/savoury lotus root. Kimchi was great too! They also give a free drink, I chose hot barley and it was like the typical roasted barley drinks you get at korean restaurants. I was really really full after this meal!

At $12++, this is v good value because the food was really quite delicious and I think the portions are big enough such that 3 pax can share 2 sets. Will definitely be back!

One if the better items found here! Not overly spicy and paired well with the cheese! Good place for Gamjatang also!
