not crispy enough :( and super overpriced too :(
๐ป Happy hump day everyone -- if covid-19 wasn't devastating the world, I'd be out enjoying ladies' night for sure. |
Hopheads, the popular watering hole doesn't really need an introduction, but is definitely known more as a drink spot rather than a place you'd get good food. That's why I was pleasantly surprised when I got such a gigantic bowl of nachos topped with Pico de Gallo, heaping spoons of sour cream, and a side helping of nacho cheese to keep the chips crispy while you drink and chitchat. |
These gigantic bowl of nachos were so good, my friends and I ended up ordering 2 while we were playing our game of Jenga and card games. | .
Of all that we tried, the mentaiko fries ($14.90++) stood out the most! Laden with mayo and topped with tobiko, the fries remained crispy. The truffle fries ($12.90++) were a bit stale and oily. Our other favourite was the buffalo wings ($14.90++) - a tangy, spiced sauce that leaves a burn down your throat.
limited menu as mains as i think usually people go there for the drinks and finger food.only 3 types of pasta and the salted egg pasta was not as flavourful as i hope it would be
Premium Beef patty topped with saiteed shiitake mushrooms with onions and a side of fries๐ Upgrade to cheese fries to satisfy your tummy ๐
Amazing deal and pretty decent bar food! The wings are available in buffalo sauce (mildly spicy with a slight tangy twist), tangy (bbq mimic) and curry (slightly weird). The $1 wings are available before 9pm, and complements the 1-for-1 beer towers perfectly! Love their churros with chocolate sauce too, which they gave to us on the house ๐๐ Nice big bar with great service and good entertainment (beer pong, darts, pool tables, jenga etc), definitely perfect for big groups!
