The noodles are very thin and good. It doesn’t have the very strong noodle taste. The polo bun is a disappointment.

Char Siew is not charred and the noodles is not too dry. Worth to make a trip to try

Another must-order would be this! Crisp skin, tender, and pretty generous for portion for 2 and the sauce had a nice sweet/ herbal fragrance.

First meal in Penang was this pretty good bowl of wanton Charsiew noodles - some may find it bland but I liked how it was qq with no alkaline-y taste!

The sauce was well-balanced between sweet & savoury, but the star of it all was the wanton - encased within a relatively thin skin, the wanton was plump, juicy, generously filled meat/ shrimp.

Another must-order would be the pipa duck. Crisp skin, tender, and pretty generous for portion for 2!

There’s also a small pastries stall and at the time we were there, the selection was quite limited. Got the pumpkin tart which had a good, lightly buttery crumbly shell.

The catch about this place was that you get to catch how they make the noodles and it is pretty amazing! Just Google search this place you should probably watch some of the videos on how they make the noodles.

Located along Campbell Street, this us where you can find the authentic Hong Kong style Wan Thun Mee in Penang.

A traditional way of preparing noodles as they use a long bamboo pole to knead the dough in an open concept kitchen. Doing it over and over again, it makes the thin noodles more springy with a good bite. Plus their mouth-watering wantans!! Thinly wrapped wantan bursting with chunks of minced meat that's mixed with salted fish for that slight savoury taste.
