More like egg mayo croissant with hints of truffle that werenβt very apparent. Croissant was flaky and decent enough, though it was overall nothing mind blowing. A generous portion of filling though!

Toasted sourdough was soft and fluffy, giving a nice chew with every bite. But I loved the flavours which came through with all the ingredients combined. A medley of wonderfully sautΓ©ed mushrooms, honey baked ham, garlic Mayo, with three generous cheeses - American cheese, cheddar, and mozzarella slapped in between two slices to make a pretty huge sandwich. Delicious and convenient, which no wonder even people working around would patronise!

While I didn't enjoy my chocolate croissant, at least the rice bowl was not bad & the coffee delightful. &, also, the service was extremely polite & efficient... To anyone, regardless of whether they're a first-timer or regular clientele (you can tell by the amusing banter).
I observed there was a good mix of dine-ins & takeouts during my ~1 hour meal here; mostly office folks, I reckon (worthy to note that An Honest Cup is not open on weekends).

I was craving something sweet to finish up my coffee with, & ordered the Chocolate Croissant ($4.80+) as a treat. Unfortunately, this was such a struggle to finish.
T'was heated up cheerfully, but the inside was so tough to cut through & chew.. Felt tough like soggy cardboard. My sweet tooth craving was satisfied, but I was sad I spent money on this. Wouldn't order this again.

The best part of my meal at An Honest Cup was the 5oz White ($4.80+) coffee, which is a Double Espresso + Hot Milk for "balanced" flavour. This, compared to the 7oz White option which is listed as "milky".
I'd come back here just for the coffee alone, if I were in the vicinity (they're located in a light industrial estate).

Rice bowls are available from 11AM until sold out. Here's the Grilled Yakitori ($8.00+) one, which is quite a simple donburi.
While I liked the chunky pieces of juicy chicken (even though they still had their skins on), I didn't find anything too special about this. It got the job done of filling up my stomach.
