The food and service at Hiryu was amazing and we enjoyed watching the chefs prepare our sushi in front of us.

We were first served chawanmushi, followed by sushi, don and a dessert. I liked the don, which consisted of wagyu beef, foie gras and uni - everything complemented each other well.

This was my first time trying omakase, and it was absolutely incredible! We went for the lunch menu, and every dish was a masterpiece—fresh, high-quality, and beautifully presented. The staff were amazing—attentive, friendly, and they made the whole experience feel special. If you're looking for a place with fantastic service and even better food, this is it. Highly recommend, especially for lunch!

Amazing sushi - very generous serving of caviar and gold flakes!

Hiryu’s Aoi Omakase lunch ($128++) is such great value! Every course was carefully prepared, and you get eight courses including a wagyu don, which was the absolute highlight of the meal. It came with shaved truffles, uni, A5 Wagyu, and foie gras all in one bowl. It was rich, buttery, and absolutely delicious. The ambience is classy yet cosy, as the staff are warm and friendly. If you love Japanese food, this place is a must-try!

thoroughly enjoyed the Aoi omakase lunch menu!

we started off with a crab meat chawanmushi that was warm and hearty. next, we had the 4 piece sushi, followed by their signature a5 wagyu premium don. foie gras tasted really great!

we ended off the meal with a side of miso soup and a refreshing jelly dessert!

Really good omakase.
Texture of the crab meat chawanmushi was really smooth. Really shows the dedication of the chef.
Fish was really fresh and prepared to perfection.
Wagyu was also really good.
The chef was really friendly and conversational throughout the meal, explaining each dish clearly to us.
