Really good omakase.
Texture of the crab meat chawanmushi was really smooth. Really shows the dedication of the chef.
Fish was really fresh and prepared to perfection.
Wagyu was also really good.
The chef was really friendly and conversational throughout the meal, explaining each dish clearly to us.
Ordered the lunch omakase menu and was welcomed with crabmeat chawanmushi! Love how fresh the crab meat is, and after that we had 4 sushi and a Wagyu Don too. Personally really liked the Don. Atmosphere was good and I think it’s a good place for celebration as well! Staffs were really friendly which was a plus point
Had the $128 set and it was really good.
Crab meat chawanmushi was really smooth and unlike any other chawanmushi
Fish was really fresh
Ended with really juicy wagyu that melts in the mouth
Thoroughly enjoyed the Aoi omakase lunch menu at Hiryu!
The meal was a delightful journey, starting with some beautifully crafted appetizers and fresh sushi, each bite showcasing the chef’s skill and attention to detail. However, the true standout was the signature A5 wagyu premium don—an unforgettable dish featuring tender wagyu, topped with decadent ingredients that made every bite rich and flavorful. It was easily the highlight of the meal.
The dining experience was elevated by the restaurant’s warm, inviting ambience. With its elegant decor and serene atmosphere, it was the perfect setting for a luxurious lunch.
Highly recommend Hiryu for a premium dining experience!
thoroughly enjoyed the Aoi omakase lunch menu!
we started off with a crab meat chawanmushi that was warm and hearty. next, we had the 4 piece sushi - grouper witb lime zest, long tailed snapper seasoned with lime juice and charcoal salt, marinated saba with yuzu and the signature sushi - otoro topped with chotoro, caviar and gold flakes! all 4 sushis were absolutely delicious and tasted really fresh!
next, we had their signature a5 wagyu premium don and it was an explosion of flavours! there was the tender a5 wagyu alongside foie gras, uni, fish roe and topped with truffle shavings! this was definitely the highlight of the meal and understand why it is hiryu’s signature dish!
we ended off the meal with a side of miso soup and a refreshing mochi dessert!
highly highly recommend hiryu if you’re looking for an indulgent and luxurious experience!
Was a pleasant experience all around, especially with chef Andy. Big props to him for answering all our random questions as we went through the delicious menu! Highlight was definitely the bento, filled with delicious and fresh ingredients, will be back to try their seasonal sushi :)
