Dig into Hideki’s Aburi Pork Belly Don ($7.80) for a super satisfying lunch! This bowl comes with rice, a flame-seared aburi pork belly, sautéed corn, and a runny onsen egg to top it all off.
The pork belly was delicious, the sauce was tasty and the portions were generous.
Rice, Aburi Chicken, Sautéed Corn, Onsen Egg 》$7
The aburi pork belly was noteworthy from being marinated in shoyu for up to 48 hours before they are cooked sous vide-style with a charred abrui finish. Although the pork belly was well marinated and thinly sliced, the meat was a little on the tough side but I like the distinct charred notes on it. This reminded me of the thinner version of Korean bbq pork belly.

Hideki is a Japanese Fusion Poké Bowl Concept where you can freely select your favourite choices to satisfy your taste buds. It allows us to build our own bowl where we start off by picking our base, protein and sides then finished with a complimentary sauce of our choice.
The chicken was marinated for up to 48 hours with a secret shoyu marinade before they are cooked sous vide-style to retain their juiciness and end off with a charred abrui finish. It was firm to the bite, served with a nicely torched exterior with smoky notes to the meat. One of my favourite sides will be the lok-lok broccoli that was fragrant, slightly charred and crispy.

Base: soba ($1)
Wanted to get the garden salad as base but it was unavailable and got the soba instead, which is a little tasteless.
Protein: chicken ($3)
Chicken tasted good and felt like there was some kind of special marinate.
Sauce: spicy cheese
Sauce was a bit too little and couldn't really taste it after mixing with the rest of the food. Might want to try other sauces instead.
Add-ons: edamame ($1), corn ($1), mushrooms ($1), steamed brocoli ($1.50)
Had wanted lok-lok brocoli but wasnt available so had the normal steamed brocoli, which is really normal.
Overall an okay experience and might give it a second try with other combination.
I'm the last 2 customer, so most of the items are sold out. So I ordered Abury Pork Belly Don.
The pork belly was thin, tender with Char on the outside, served with Japan rice and truffle soya as a sauce.
Taste wise is good, but the meat only 6 and very thin, so my rice still left 1/2 when my meat finished.
