Thick, creamy and in the colour of a flaming sunset, Grandma’s Singapore laksa does not disappoint with its generous amount of ingredients and aromatic coconut-based curry soup 🍜. The small bowl was filled with fried bean curd, boneless chicken thigh pieces, cockles, hard boiled egg, fish cake, shrimps and long beans 😋😋😋. “Diet” tip: switch the laksa noodles to rice vermicelli 🤣
Grandma’s take on this classic comes with fresh shrimps 🍤 and is similar in style to a Thai omelette 🍳. Think soft, fluffy and eggy layers, hot and puffy from the wok, edged with golden and light-as-clouds crispy egg wisps. 😋😋
👩👧👧💕🤤
Looking forward for that day to come that we'll eat together everyday...😌

A really nice version of Nasi Lemak. Chicken was amazingly tender and the gravy was oh so Shiok. Rice was fragrant and the achar was packed with crunch. Worth it.
Though not one of their Peranakan specialty on the menu, I decided to go with Mee Siam and it tastes pretty good. Taste is really well balanced and again stands out due to its unique flavor sprinkled with tons of ingredients. Service and ambience is commendable, might be a little pricey to some but I think its worth it given that the dishes were well prepared. Also, they serve basket of complimentary keropok before meal.
