A new addition is their Summer Unagi Bata Roll ($18.80) which is filled Charcoal grilled summer unagi with Akashi's 25yrs secret unagi sauce, hand cut cucumber, TOO MUCH BUTTER in the brioche roll. The Unagi is yums but why use pure unsalted butter in clunks inside - it’s like eating frozen butter😅🧈
Didn’t realised @goldenbrownhambaga is hidden inside @akashi.sg at @paragon.sg 😯✨ and this raved tamago yaki hambaga ($10.80) is considered DESSERT??? Super thick tamago katsu!!! It’s pretty sweet but still with a savory node from the dashi 😊 together with the fluffy brioche bun, it’s heavier than it looks - best shared as it can get quite intense for one😶
Our pick between the two burgers we tried. Look at the thick patty that’s stuffed full of fresh minced prawns! It was well-balanced in flavour and not heavily seasoned so that you get the prawns’ natural sweetness. All the burgers here come with buttery brioche buns.
You can find Golden Brown at Akashi in Paragon - they are available daily 11.30am to 10pm, for both dine-in and takeaways/deliveries. We had to specifically request for this burger menu so don’t worry if you think you’re in the wrong place (cause we thought we were) 😂
These hearty burgers from Golden Brown Hambaga by Akashi should be talked about more! 😂

Simple and unassuming ingredients used here - tamago, mayo and nori, but really enjoyed how the tamago was done katsu style to give that contrasting crunch, without being overly thick. It also had a nice touch of sweetness and was well-cooked, though I would have loved for more nori on top for a better balance. Would recommend to split halves with a friend so that it doesn’t get too heavy.
Grab a bite of these Japanese inspired burgers. Deceptively simple but yummy, these burgers from @goldenbrownhambaga make a good breakfast and lunch choice.
Ebi Katsu Hambaga ($14.80) is my top pick.
Crispy panko-coated shrimp patty drizzled with kewpie mayonnaise and sandwiched between a buttery brioche bun.

I would think Tamago Yaki Hambaga ($10.80) is a good breakfast choice, though not sure why it is classified as a dessert burger (anyone knows?). Fluffy tamagoyaki coated with nori, has a subtle sweetness from the Japanese dashi.
