another one of my favs! love the flaky pastry, caramelized almonds on surface and the sweet and juicy apple slices inside. q sweet and vv indulgent - a great treat!!
one of my favs! has little pockets of melty chocolate all throughout the bread that’s always a pleasant surprise. also has a slight orange flavour
bread was so chewy and bouncy yumz and the little cubes of cheese were SO tasty. only problem is that they’re all clustered tgt like this so i had to ration them myself, but there was q a lot of cheese which made the bread heavy (worth!!)
marble pretzel ($2.90)
- look damn sweet but it wasn’t! pastry was rlly crispy and layered w choc so yummy
cheesecake croissant ($2.80)
- croissant was q soggy but i really liked the cheesecake filling!! v creamy and rich
shio vanilla kurumi scone ($2.30)
- love the flavour!! it’s sweet and salty which makes it q unique
kokutou x kokutou pan ($2.20)
- idk the flavour coz it’s still sitting in my fridge HAHA but alw love the texture of gokoku’s bread
I felt that it's quite a slightly sweet aftertaste for me as a part of seasonal bread for new year. But then as usual, their bread was quite soft and chewy for me and also I did like some of their seasonal bakes sometimes.
An Shio Butter Pan ($2.20)
it's combination for sweet and salty (savoury) aftertaste but it's quite soft and chewy. i didn't tried their red bean bun before so I did expected that it's quite good tbh.
