Bread🍞 & Donuts 🍩
we had the CLASSIC W BUTTER ($5). super big, amazing crust but the bread was meh…butter made it better.
this bolo bun was so disappointing...lacked fluffiness and butter
marble pretzel ($2.90)
- look damn sweet but it wasn’t! pastry was rlly crispy and layered w choc so yummy
cheesecake croissant ($2.80)
- croissant was q soggy but i really liked the cheesecake filling!! v creamy and rich
shio vanilla kurumi scone ($2.30)
- love the flavour!! it’s sweet and salty which makes it q unique
kokutou x kokutou pan ($2.20)
- idk the flavour coz it’s still sitting in my fridge HAHA but alw love the texture of gokoku’s bread
honestly i enjoyed both despite the reviews! the crust of both were rlly buttery. just that i wished the butter was inside the bolo bun😂
Not worth lah esp at this price point😭😭😭 It’s nice ngl but it rlly is j a pretty garlic cheese bread with a hint of truffle

the salted butter is so goodddddd we asked for more hehe🧈 and this amount of bread for $4??? slay
it’s quite jelak but it’s still really nice. the filling is v rich & creamy🧀, and the doughnut texture is amazing
the bun is soooooooooo soft & squishy :3
how can you go to Bao Makers & not order baos?? so ofc we had the TASTING PLATTER ($32). it’s not bad, it is what it is, but not worth the long wait :”)
best sticky bun everrr the cinnamon really penetrated through. it was of a good amount of sweetness and topped with lots of walnuts, though they would have been better de-shelled to remove the bitter aftertaste
one of my fav breads from barcook!! bread is soft & fluffy, sufficient filling, and curry has a good amount of spice that’s not too heavy on the stomach when i eat it for breakfast :)
