We were mm-ing and ah-ing over the engawa (flounder fin). It was soooo good.
It was a late bday treat for my friend. We went for sushi omakase which was about 100 for 6 pieces. We had 12..enjoyed it and it was a bit pricier than expected but it was a last minute booking. Fresh fish. Pleasant atmosphere and not pushy. We enjoyed ourselves with a leisurely dinner. I do think a little mlre sweetness shining through would have made it better but it was a good evening in the right company to try this. We loved the soup to finish and drank it all up and despite thinking we were too full, we enjoyed the ice cream.
Always love a good counter seat for omakase meals!
Here’s our chef preparing our A5 Miyazaki Wagyu Beef Don from @GinzaShintoSG, a relatively new contemporary Japanese omakase restaurant in Mohamed Sultan!
