We were mm-ing and ah-ing over the engawa (flounder fin). It was soooo good.
It was a late bday treat for my friend. We went for sushi omakase which was about 100 for 6 pieces. We had 12..enjoyed it and it was a bit pricier than expected but it was a last minute booking. Fresh fish. Pleasant atmosphere and not pushy. We enjoyed ourselves with a leisurely dinner. I do think a little mlre sweetness shining through would have made it better but it was a good evening in the right company to try this. We loved the soup to finish and drank it all up and despite thinking we were too full, we enjoyed the ice cream.
This is from the Thai food purveyor and it's pretty good. Lots of crab. $9
Both were great especially the grilled chicken was a real surprise. So juicy and full of flavour. A bit of crisp skin too and lots of juices.
My family liked this. It was very meaty. I found it so so and more like braised lamb. I can roast lamb shank too so I'm more picky.
At $16+ this was just too small a portion. 2 small pieces although tasty I think i have to stick to making this myself.
$20 for 3 Dips. The eggplant is the best and the hummus and taramasalata are all very good choices. $3.90 for a plate of pita.
These are classic rolls
Fried spring rolls! Super tasty and crisp! Well marinated minced meat filling like a sausage!
