Pretty decent meal with well marinated duck meat and sufficient pieces of goose liver.
Super fresh succulent oysters unlike anything weβve ever tried. We chanced upon this promotion and it turned out to be exceptionally good. I think this promotion is only for the month of April, so head there soon!

Boyfriend liked this grilled duck breast & Foie Gras with black truffle egg don a lot, while I find the foie gras a little gamey.
Restaurant has great ambience and provided hot towels when we were waiting for our food. Highly recommended!
Perfect comfort food for a rainy day. Itβs a little bit pricey for the portion given, but I wanted to eat something light for dinner.
Came for the yakitori, stayed for these glossy, succulent oysters! One thing special about this place is that you can opt for the oysters to come grilled - a course of action that I undertook for 4 of the 6 oysters I ate. Please do not crucify me for saying this all you orthodox oyster-shucking lovers out there, but I very much preferred the grilled oysters which had the distinctive full-bodied βseawaterβ taste reduced to just a mild tinge! When coupled with the light and citrus-y radish and ponzu dip, the oysters slipped easily down my throat.
The yakitori (I had the beef, meatball, chicken thigh & salmon) though rather lacking in size more than made up for it in taste! All had an impressive smoky char, the hallmark of a good stick of yakitori! All in all, Gan Yakitori is a good place to chill out with some quick bites.
Team lunch at Gan Yakitori today. Their set lunches are a pretty good deal; my rice set came with salad, fried fish and chicken side and egg drop soup. Of all the sets, the unagi set and wagyu don set were the most value for money options imo. The unagi was cooked really nicely and served on a base of shredded tamago and rice so presentation points there for sure. βΊ
