Suitable if you have a group of people. It’s nice and the price is $33
The beef platter ($30) has short rib, beef loin and beef brisket while the combination platter, ($28) has marinated chicken, pork belly and short rib. My personal favorite has to be a tie between the tender, juicy chicken thigh and the melt-in-your-mouth pork belly. <3 And the king oyster mushrooms tasted so good grilled. Wish they'd given us more.
There were 4-5 types of free-flow banchan. The kimchi was a tad too spicy for me, but they also had these boiled baby potatoes with a sweet sauce that was spot-on. I also liked the spinach salad.
There are both electric and charcoal grills available; we had the electric grill because we wanted to sit indoors. Staff are efficient, with food coming quickly and the waiters refilling water and banchans quickly when we called for their attention. There are better Kbbq places out there, but I think Gaia is still a good option if one is out in Holland Village and craving Korean flavors.
8/10
Come in groups of four for after-work dinner and drinks in Holland Village. Order their Dweji Suyuk Bossam ($33) for a satisfying dish of super tender pork buried in kimchi. Also good is their Budae Jjigae ($48) with tofu, sausages, ham, enoki mushrooms, korean dumplings, leek, spring onions, cheese and ramyeon. Psst. They offer a great selection of banchan (think baby potatoes and fresh kimchi that is unbelievably refreshing) so be sure to leave some space for that!

The Bbq meats may be expensive but nice and simple to eat. seafood pancake is good too
Hwans’ favourite hideaway for good Korean cuisine, Gaia Korean Grill + Bar has great banchan (loved the baby potatoes and fresh kimchi) and crazy portions! Collective gasp from the table when this massive plate of bossam was plonked on our table. Boiled pork that was pretty tender surrounded a ridiculous mountain of kimchi (cucumber, onions and I think baby bok choy). Somehow, we cleaned the entire plate off. It was that satisfying. 👅💦💦
This was disappointing as the base broth wasn't as punchy as we expected. We had to add lots of kimchi (from the freeflow banchan) to give it that depth of flavour we were looking for. The pan they use is also quite shallow so there's not much ingredients. Definitely not worth it. 💔 Will try the other dishes next time.
