shrimp paste fried chicken with sambal maple syrup & a sunny side up fried egg
Delicious!
Dark chocolate granola + the latte was pretty!!! But a tad acidic.
Ordered the chili scram [$20] and the dark chocolate granola [$18]. The chili scram was really good and creamy and the granola was really nutty and refreshing with the yogurt. A really nice cafe with great ambience!
Pricy for eggs Benedict. Ok taste wise, no hollandaise taste. Saving factor was the roasted potato wedges.
Fried chicken on waffles with a local twist - this was really yummy and a brilliant idea. I never thought I’d have my shrimp paste fried chicken drizzled with sambal maple syrup atop waffles. The sambal taste in the maple syrup wasn’t very strong, or at least I couldn’t taste very much of it. But it was a tasty combination nevertheless.
Worth a try - especially if you like har cheong gai.
I’m very much not a tau sar pau person at all so I really can’t compare much 🤠@__zhihui.lim brought me to try this famed one from Forty Hands and it was fluffy soft with a smooth red bean paste filling that’s distinctly less sweet - which we like. Definitely more pricey though!
