Meat patty with salted mustard green. Tender and quite flavorful in a healthy way.
Woodlanders rejoice! Opened recently at Admiralty Plaza's NTUC Foodfare is Washoku Goen, which is also the stall at Vivocity and Wisma Atria that is known for their double portion Japanese Curry Rice. For $11.80, this comes as the basic version for the double-portioned pork variant (chicken comes at $10.80) which is good to share for two. Despite being placed in the display for a while, the pork manages to pull off a little crispness, while the curry carries a good balance of savoury and sweet flavours that is signature of Japanese curry, accompanied with small potato chunks and caramalised onions within. If this is not enough, they also offer the double portion with a soft-boiled egg and even potato croquettes at a slightly higher price. Definitely comes as a pleasant surprise and good addition to the neighborhood which is usually associated with boring options and albeit mediocre food.
2 additional meatballs cost me S$1..... Usually it's only 1 meatball as per d stall lady. WTH.... A packet of frozen meatballs only $3plus. Totally not worthy for its small bowl of mee soto @ Malay Cuisine, Admiralty NTUC Foodfare #burpple
2 Veg 1 Meat - $3.30
