So a Sat afternoon is a good time to visit a nearby @starbuckssg and enjoy our new favourites. Ang Moh Teh Peng (Iced Vanilla Black Tea Latte) and Ang Moh Iced Yuan Yang (Iced Vanilla Black Tea and Espresso Fusion). Very nice!!
Other than the usual Penang fried kuay teow we recommend this braised pork set for less than $8.
You get a whole egg, lots of meat and a small bowl of rojak and a cup of drink.
We rate this stall 7/10. Opens until 9pm
I don't really fancy having lunch at the school's food court, especially when the food court is awfully packed during lunch hour with snaking queues and a almost fully seated dining hall. If I don't have the luxury of time to travel out for lunch however, I would usually wind up here for a bowl of rather decent Bak Chor Mee. There isn't many dry Bak Chor Mee that's as saucey as this (the way I like it though) — lots of sauce, lots of chili; noodles tossed in the moderately spicy and flavoursome sauce. The accompanying meat is a little dry and stiff, but the meatballs seemed to have absorbed all the broth it was soaked in. What I like most here is that they have placed a bowl of pork lard at the counter which you can help yourself with; just spam as much you like! The vinegary Mee Pok here is something I don't like smelling in a lecture hall but it's definitely something I don't mind having in the food court!
Can't wait to graduate 🎊🎈🎈 this laksa pasta not bad haha only $5.5 for pasta and soup
Blackboys Cubanos makes their way to SIM University from 16 Nov to 19 Nov 2015. Review: bread was soft even after 15mins of cooling down, with some crispness on the crust still evident. Fillings were adequately balanced, although picked jalapeño dislikers may have to be prepared for the tang of sourness in it. Sadly, no real cheese evident in it, replaced by nacho cheese sauce. Personally think all cubanos should have real grilled cheese in it, melted to semi liquid form, instead of nachos cheese sauce. Personally graded at 4/5. Just a personal review from yours truly, the bigtummyguy.
One of the better food offered in SIM for $3.20 the soup is the main point.
