Herbal Soup at Food Republic Causeway Point is no exception. Ranging from Lotus Root with Pork Ribs Soup $4.80 to Cordycep Ginseng Chicken Soup $6.50.

The Lotus Root with Pork Ribs soup pictured here was subtly sweet, and is said to dispel heat, nourish lungs and liver. This soup paired well with brown rice.

Look no further than Penang Chiak, two brothers Leonard and Dave who decided to bring their own hometown delicacies to Singapore. They have re-created popular street food in their neighbourhood, delivered with their parents' traditional recipes.
πΆ
The key in their dishes is using authentic and fresh ingredients, specially imported from Penang, such as this Nonya Chicken Cutlet rice, the Nonya style sauce had a good mix of sweet and tangy spices. The crispy and chicken cutlet also completed the meal! Also do try their Penang Fried Hokkien Mee $5.80 and Penang Nasi Lemak $5.80

For seafood lovers, try their Crayfish Noodles $8, served with 2 whole crayfishes. ππ€π
My personal favourite was this Pork Rib Prawn Noodle, look at that huge chunk of Pork Rib barely seated in the spoon. It's huge and rather juicy despite not having any sauces mixed into the bowl. The noodles was seasoned with chilli that was a tad spicy for me. Served with 2 sea prawns, and a bunch of pork rib, this dish is priced at $7.50 and ready to meat you!

Customers get to choose from a variety of traditional Yong Tau Fu that would be cooked crispy upon order and served with their specially made minced chicken mushroom sauce and chilli! Yes! You read that right, minced chicken mushroom sauce. I'm in love!
πΆ
The specialty minced chicken mushroom gravy along with the fried Yong Tau Fu is so delicious and rather addictive. The flavours of the mushroom and chicken could be observed rather distinctively. There were ample chunks of mushrooms embedded in the sauce, I found myself picking out the mushrooms from the sauce with my chopsticks every few minutes.
πΆ
Their Signature Yong Tau Foo Noodle set $5.60 comes with a bowl of noodles covered with their specialty sauce, despite trying to be on a low carb diet, the noodles were too yummy with the sauce. I devoured it anyways.

Not only do they make their own fishballs, they make their own chilli sauce and crispy lard pieces as well.
πΆ
Based on the same recipe that has been used since they started in 1968. Fishball Noodles ($4.50), Fish Dumpling Noodles ($5.40), Fishball Noodles with Fish Dumplings ($5.80) are Li Xin's signature dishes. You can choose to have these noodles served with tomato, chilli or vinegar sauces, all of which provide a different flavour to the noodle texture. Do give these bouncy and juicy fishballs a try!

Yuming Kitchen, serves up Korean Ginseng Chicken Soup, both nourishing with ginseng and served with Japgokbap (Korean multigrain rice), Bi Bim Bap $7.50 and Kimchi Ramen $6.
πΆ
The Bi Bim Bap had a good variety of fresh ingredients, carrots, bean sprouts, tofu, kimchi, cucumbers, and a golden and runny egg yolk. Definitely a fairly healthy lunch option!
