Passing by and was kinda stunned by this place just across the Kopitiam I always used to eat at, haha. 'Was it always here?!' LOL. The place is very spacious with sunlight falling in through the large windows :) Service is sincere and friendly too. I ordered the beef ragu ravioli with black truffle sauce; the sauce is kind of an acquired taste, but I really appreciate the thought the Chef puts into the dish.
Tender chicken breast meat that isn't sous vide! Stuffed with prawn and asparagus, the chicken was surprisingly tasty and juicy. This dish has a good mix of greens and the barley risotto was perfect—with a little bite yet soft. Goes really well with the mushroom sauce. 😋
This restaurant is currently a secret little getaway for a good meal, but would be great for groups to catch up and events too.

The peppery, meaty mackerel had the unyielding defiance of a PSLE 221 T-score parent, only submitting to the cutlery in thin long strips. Elsewhere, the curry cauliflower provided a spiced, powdery curry chap chye experience, the addictive parmesan crust offered curryish, saltily cheesy and crumbly amusement and the coconut velouté struck a pose oblivious to the other party guests' agendas. 3.6/5
Follia has moved from its previous shop space at Clover Way just a distance from Marymount MRT Station all the way to Blk 261 Waterloo Street where The Betterfield used to be located.
Running out of Ravioli for this special, they served this with Tortellini instead which was pretty decent. A pretty savoury plate of pasta from the rich, creamy and earthy sauce all the way down to the Tortellini where the Beef Ragu was wrapped within — the pasta carried just the right level of thickness for a good texture. That being said, the shaved truffles seemed to have lost its flavour completely and the long waiting times (>30mins) affected the dining experience overall.
Burrata cheese must go with Parma ham and rocket salad with cherry tomatoes. They are the best combination 😍
A quaint Italian joint located near the intersection between the Marymount Industrial district and Jalan Peminpin, Follia serves up modern, classy Italian food. It has a really homely feel, especially so if you book the private room. Here is the Lamb Rack ($35++) which features 3 thick and succulent pieces of lamb, roasted vegetables and some baked potato gratin. I got the medium rare which was slightly too bloody and the meat came off too chewy, whereas my friends who had the medium said that it was done perfectly. Lesson learnt >< would come back again to try their Vongole, one of their signature dishes. A nice place for a more down-to-earth and rustic environment to dine in.
