Delicate strands of French chestnut cream piped onto a shortcake of chantilly and sliced Japanese chestnuts.
Not a fan of Mont Blanc, but this cake may just start to change me. The Chestnut cream was light & Fluffy texture, tasted Mildly flavourful and creamy.
Strawberries were fresh as well.
Not your usual latte or cappuccino, more inclined to the usual though good enough for a caffeine fix, quite strong in fact. Good ambience, was a quiet, wish they open earlier in the morning.
Strawberry Soufflé, $9.52
A light baked cheesecake, in which rich egg yolks are painstakingly hand-kneaded into cream cheese to ensure smooth consistency, is piled high with fresh strawberry halves, and glazed to perfection.
Citron Tart, $10.50
Lemon curd filled almond sucre tart base, topped with zesty fruits from the citrus family - orange, grapefruit and pomelo
The cafe is super quiet and aesthetics on a weekday afternoon, good vibes to chill and talk with friends. Both cakes were mediocre and also on the pricey side (they were rather small), would love to try the cheese tarts in the future but the cakes are not something that I will go back for.
