I generally don't eat fishball noodles because I don't like the texture of high starch content. 🙊 and embarrassingly asked "what is mee kia?" due to my noobness. Anyway this definitely lived up to its name with its fresh handmade fishballs. Order the premium at $5.50 to get fried fish skin to increase the shiokness level. And I definitely loved the fact that you can add some YTF sides to your noodles. 🙌🏻🙌🏻

On a side note, if anyone knows of any job opening in the food industry for a fresh grad, please PM me. I have a smart and hardworking guy to reccomend. 🍴

Bowl at $5 was covered in ingredients: 4 fish balls, thickly sliced fish cake, fish skin, fish paste tau pok. Very satisfying meal for the quality of fish ball and fish cake. Room for improvement includes crispier fish skin and more potent chilli!
You know you are getting a good bowl of noodles when it's cooked with patience. Noodles were q, fishballs and fishcakes were flavourful and bouncy and the noodles were seasoned to perfection. A $3 slice of heaven
We decided to have our #FishballStory Meepok at @NUS_singapore U-Town instead. Not as packed so noodles are not rushed, so nice and qq!
The noodle was springy and cooked just right. Fishball were definitely handmade as it isn't smooth but were not bad(: Fishcakes were really tasty too as it had alot of ingredients in them.
Each bowl is at $3 dollars for NUS students and $3.50 for non NUS students
Have been super overwhelmed with quizzes and assignment deadlines recently that I haven't really gotten the chance to check off anything from my to-eat list! Went down to Utown today after the end of my 'hell week' to get my comfort food, a satisfying yet still affordable bowl of dry fishball noodles! Quality has been consistent since it opened - al dente noodles, bouncy fishballs and flavorful chili full of heibi. Yum. Can't wait to visit the newly opened one at Timbre+!
