* This place has closed :( Please try somewhere else. * Terrific location if you are part of Singapore's CBD working crowd and want a change of taste. We are tucked away at Nankin Row, a pedestrian street that is easily accessible from Chinatown MRT and Telok Ayer MRT. Wallet-friendly prices, great service, and amazing food. The menu is 100% vegetarian and 100% halal - mostly sandwiches in pita (Arabic) bread, salads and dips. Everything is prepared on site daily except for our pita bread. Our pita is sourced freshly baked every morning from a local bakery. We don't use eggs, butter, or milk in any of our dishes and many items can be served without garlic and onion. Most of our menu is now available everyday including our best seller, Koshari Brown Rice and we have new dishes on the menu like the Vegetarian Lasagne, Moussaka, and Chili Stuffed Falafel. There is a whole new desserts menu that includes a Fruit Salad, Vegan Cake, and Baklava. Don't forget to try our home-made drinks from Lemonade to Hibiscus and Tamarind.

Look at this spread! My first time trying Mediterranean food and it was refreshing. The pita bread was warm and fluffy. This set comes with 8 pita breads, baba ghanoush, falafel, hummus and tabbouleh. I loved the baba ghanoush because it was on the tart side and reminded me of sun-dried tomatoes. The hummus could have done with a little more flavour.

Working around the CBD offers endless lunch options but why not try something new? This casual Mediterranean cafe is located in Nankin Row along Pickering Street, serving up classic Middle Eastern vegetarian dishes such as Falafel and Eggplant Pitas at $11 each. Try their $20 Big Dipper Set , which comes with Falafel, Hummus, Tabbouleh & Babaganoush. Burppler Nicole And sang high praises and "Love how the flavours come together to give such a satisfying taste."

Best are the falafels, made with broadbeans instead of the usual chickpeas, although they are a bit pricey at $2.50 for a tiny piece. Friendly place with the Egyptian owner running the show himself. Hope the economics work out for them, as this location has high rents and they have lots of staff.

I’ve come to Fill a Pita a few times for my Middle Eastern vegetarian fix. This time I got the Eggplant Pita Sandwich ($11) which was great - the eggplant and salad mix inside was really nicely seasoned. Definitely drop by if you’re looking for something fulfilling yet healthy!
